MGH Research

Martinos Center for Biomedical Imaging (2018-2020)

After my master's at SDSU, I wanted to take some time to gain significant clinical exposure and experience. I joined as a research coordinator at Massachusetts General Hospital in the Emotion and Social Neuroscience lab with Dr. Daphne Holt and Dr. Roger Tootell.

I worked as a lead coordinator on a research study that scanned healthy controls, first degree relatives, and individuals with psychosis and examined neural correlates of personal space. Here, I gained an extensive experience for two years scanning independently at the Martinos Center, while conducting neuropsychological assessments. This experience fed my passion into pursuing interdisciplinary neuroimaging research.

I was able to present at several local and national conferences from 2018-2020 during my tenure here, and am working on two manuscripts to be submitted for publication this year.
